Ender 3 Duel Z Rod and Linear Rails
This is the Z axis for the TAC-01, The Angry Chicken 01 3D printer.
This is built off of an Ender 3. It uses 2 z motors and 2 z rods and 2 linear rails to produce a consistent and fast 3d print.
I currently have over 3000 print hours on this across several machines and its still going super solid! I’m a big fan.
This took the most complicated part of the Voron switchwire, which largely inspired this printer, and made it much simpler! The idea is a professional grade Ender 3 3d printer upgrade plan that you can slowly ease into one upgrade at a time instead of all at once.
